Typhoon Maria Causing Supply Chain Delays Jul 11 2018
China- Typhoon Maria is now a Category 2 as it landed on the east coast of China. Ningbo terminals and liners have closed and stopped operation as of yesterday afternoon. This will cause vessel delays for shipments that are scheduled for departure this week.

Tokyo, Japan - Typhoon Maria has caused the most damaging rainfall in Japan in three decades. The torrential rains are disrupting supply chains by cutting off water and power and keeping employees at home. As of Monday night, eleven portions of Japan’s highway systems have closed which cuts off critical transport and distribution routes.
